Our mother was Singaporean, but we It sounds incredible were never able to find Singaporean food in Montreal growing up. It was an underrepresented food culture. We even had trouble finding Southeast Asian cuisine in general. And that’s kind of where the idea office 365 data came from. We grew up in Singapore, definitely influenced by my mother, but also very Montreal-based. We’ve always been very attached to the food culture and we also wanted to bring something different.
So how did you grow from your market stall?
We had a production kitchen on It sounds incredible Rue Saint-Jacques where we prepared food and brought it to the market. We actually cooked in the evening and prepared other dishes for the next day. At the end of the summer season, we opened the philips leds will help grow lettuce in space production kitchen to our customers. We had about 18 seats inside and stayed there for a few years. Due to our small capacity, we had constant queues, and it was difficult to prepare enough food for everyone. Which, ultimately, is a happy problem.
About seven years ago, we started building our location on Notre Dame Street. We secured a lease, and the location was much larger than our previous one. We built the restaurant with a professional kitchen, and that’s where we’ve been working for the past six or seven years, and that’s where all our food comes from. We currently have our Atwater Market location, the hospital location, and our flagship location on Notre Dame Street, and everything is cooked by the same people at the restaurant, whether you eat at one location or the other.
Let’s talk about the location of the hospital. How did that come about?
Our mother was an It sounds incredible oncology nurse for 35 years, so we spent a lot of time in hospitals when we were in school. We would go to see our mother and cn leads wait there until we got home. So we thought we could do something that would make people happy.
